20 Erie Street, Stratford

Zehr Group completed the demolition and site preparation of the former mixed-use building at 20–28 Erie Street in Stratford, helping prepare the property for future redevelopment at one of the city’s most prominent downtown intersections.

The previous structure included commercial space at street level with residential units above, reflecting the mixed-use character of Stratford’s historic downtown. Zehr Group coordinated the careful demolition of the building and clearing of the site, creating a vacant development-ready parcel with flexible C3 zoning suitable for a variety of commercial or mixed-use opportunities.

Positioned at a highly visible corner in the heart of downtown Stratford, the site benefits from strong pedestrian and vehicle traffic and close proximity to the city’s renowned theatres, restaurants, and shops. Through this work, Zehr Group helped enable the next phase of redevelopment within one of Southwestern Ontario’s most vibrant and culturally rich downtown districts.
