Conestoga College

Zehr Group supported Conestoga Colleges vision to redevelop a centrally located office building to support its growing downtown campus. This project represents another strong example of adaptive reuse, transforming an existing structure to meet evolving community and educational needs.

The redevelopment was designed to convert the building into student housing for Conestoga College’s Downtown Kitchener campus, helping accommodate a changing and expanding student demographic while strengthening the connection between the campus and the surrounding urban core.

As general contractor, Zehr Group worked closely with project partners throughout construction to help bring this vision to life. Our team completed its scope of work in 2025, successfully preparing the building for the next phase of its evolution as plans for the space continue to develop.
